An overview of our Marketing Plan

At least 60% of Irish businesses start their search for a service or a product on-line. It’s essential to concentrate most of our marketing around a dynamic on-line campaign. We are working with Voodoo to achieve this, Voodoo are a team of on-line marketing specialists and web builders.

The on-line marketing will include Search Engine Optimisation, ensuring we move up the organic listings on Google and any of the other search engines. We will optimise the site by keeping the pages dynamic, adding content and ensuring our keywords are used to best effect. The ideas and the technology on Shop4Training are in keeping with what the spiders on Google look for, and this will help us achieve those vital top page listings too.

Assertive or Aggressive – which one are you?

These two familiar adjectives are often mixed up, so what better way to clear this confusion then to give dictionary definitions of both.

  • Aggressive – inclined to behave in an actively hostile fashion
  • Assertive – inclined to bold or confident assertion, which is something declared or stated positively

We are all familiar with the following situations:

Your boss has been out of the office all week, you all got on with things as best you could, he then storms back, closes his office door, realises the amount of work that has to be delegated, knows he is behind, but  he is in a stressed state. He bursts out of his office, barks orders aggressively to all around him, infecting everyone with an urgency that will probably not be very effective or productive.
